Canon vs Nikon

I usually don't like the point and shoot Nikon digital camera, but when you are talking about SLR ? Nikon just blows your mind. It's nice to hold, perfect pictures every time, love it's 18-200mm VR goddess lens (soooo hard to get), and Awesome features.

Some people likes Canon SLR, I hold it at the store, gee.. don't like the feeling of the handling.
Love to read www.kenrockwell.com reviews about photography.
I owned several Canon SD series, and they were great cameras, but now I go SLR.. too many shoots are missed because the cameras were too slow. No more small compact cameras anymore.

I was tempted to buy a Canon SLR since my daughter got photoshoots in Jakarta and I sneaked taking pictures with my Nikon. I talked to the photographers, what kind of cameras they have, they all have Canons, I hold it, played with it.. I like the rotating buttons to fast forward the play.. I did some researches for this temptations. My instinct is right!! Nikon beats Canon SLR big time!

I see lots of blurry or out of the white balances pictures from Canon SLR made photos. It won't happen much with Nikon SLR.

It is so funny how popular this Nikon SLR now, even just moms, I see 4 of us, Middy, Sue, Sara and I holding the same cameras, taking pictures of our kids on playdates. Of course, countless people I met anywhere, parties, parks, play place, etc holding this Nikon Cameras.

God Bless Nikon and keep the great work. I have been 'playing' with 2 different types of Digital Nikon SLR for 3 years now, and had great time with my 35 mm Nikon F70 during my fellowship at NYU, and I will and always love and buy Nikon product.

Am I too loyal ? Sure I am.. so Readers, buy Nikon D200!!! It is a great camera, if not, get D40 for the stunning photos people would cherish.
